The Incorporated Association for Cultural Resources Studies (IACRS Japan)* is delighted to announce the upcoming 5th IACRS International Conference, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on 24–25 August 2026 at Sinsuvarn Airport Suite (as well as fully online).

*IACRS Japan is officially registered with the Sapporo District Legal Affairs Bureau, Japan.

This international conference aims to provide a professional discussion platform for academics, researchers, educators, students, and business professionals from around the world. We welcome proposals from scholars, activists, and creatives from diverse disciplinary and cultural backgrounds, including literary studies, cultural studies, philosophy, environmental studies, linguistics, media studies, education, and creative writing.

The conference engages with themes related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while fostering open knowledge sharing in alignment with Creative Commons principles.

All abstract submissions will undergo review by three reviewers prior to acceptance. Selected full papers will also be considered for publication in a peer-reviewed edited volume with ISBN.
